Thornton is where our trucks sleep at night.
Saw Dog Construction is based right here. Thornton grew fast through the 2000s, and those homes are now hitting first-remodel age: unfinished basements, builder-grade kitchens, and backyards that never got their deck. That's our wheelhouse.
Drive through Hunters Glen, Eastlake or Signal Creek and you'll see the pattern: solid houses built in the growth years, most of them sitting on unfinished basements. Finishing that space is the cheapest square footage a Thornton homeowner can add, and it's the job we're known for in our own city. Newer pockets like Lewis Pointe, Trail Winds and Cherrywood Park are reaching the age where builder-grade kitchens and baths start asking for an upgrade too.
Heritage Todd Creek deserves its own mention. It's a 55+ community, and the requests we hear there are different: walk-in showers, main-floor updates, and bathrooms remodeled so the house works for the next twenty years, not just the next five. That aging-in-place work gets the same permits and the same 2-year warranty as everything else we build.
Thornton's 2000s two-stories were practically built for this: framing to final inspection, permitted and inspected with the City of Thornton.

Learn more →Builder-grade finishes from 2004 don't owe anybody anything. Time for counters, tile and cabinets you actually picked.
Learn more →The backyard the builder skipped: cedar, composite, pergolas and privacy fences built for Front Range weather.

Learn more →Thornton sits in Adams County and runs its own contractor licensing and building permits through the City of Thornton. We work with that permit desk all the time, so your basement, addition or remodel gets filed, permitted and inspected the way the city expects. No subcontractor shrug, no "the office handles that." We're the office.
We work every corner of the city: Heritage Todd Creek and Quail Valley up north, Fallbrook Farms, Springvale and Quebec Highlands in the middle, Northbrook and The Haven at York Street closer to our own shop, plus the nearby Todd Creek, Welby and Sherrelwood areas. Neighbors count too: see our pages for Westminster, Broomfield, Commerce City and Frederick.
